Pengville - Attack Night

It was a cold misty night. Parakeet and Chipy were sitting up watching TV in the TV room. Grandma Penguin walked in. She said:

“Time to go to bed, Parakeet, and you Chipy”.

“But Grandma, we are waiting for the new Roblox update. It comes out on XBox tonight,” said Chipy.

Parakeet walked into the kids shared room. Chipy followed him. Chipy jumped up on the top bunk. Parakeet went in the bottom bunk. The wind was blowing outside. Parakeet fell asleep. Chipy did not. He went to the toilet. He saw some shadows outside. He went out into the garden. It was cold. He saw a big robot. He screamed, but nobody came. He checked his iWatch. It was 12:00! He ran inside! The next thing he knew he was in bed, and it was the morning.

‘Was that a dream?’ he thought. He did not know. He got up and walked down to the living room. He got out some juicy apple snacks. He thought about the possibility that there was a robot, but woke up from his day dreaming when Grandma Penguin said that it was family shopping time. They drove to Countdown in Grandma Penguins BMW M5. Chipy was eating his Bluebird chips in the car. Chipy looked out the window. He saw a robot behind Kmart.

“Grandma, there's a robot behind Kmart” said Chipy.

Grandma always believed her family when they said things like that, so they went behind Kmart to have a look.

“Look, there’s robot footsteps!” said Grandma Penguin. “They are leading to that Holden Commodore, hmm”.

They looked inside. There was a robot helmet and a gun. The gun was made of metal and was very shiny. They also saw a plate on metal complete with wires on it. Chipy said he had saw it before and explained that all robots need it, and they have to come back for it every 1 minute. Pingu realised that the robot would be coming back for it any second. They hid behind a stack of trollies. Chipy peeked through the little opening in the stack. He saw the robot coming back and took a photo. They saw a big police station that said ‘New Zealand Police’. Pingu saw a police officer.

He shouted: “Hey, policeman! My son, Chipy saw a robot behind Kmart at the Palms mall.”

“Do you have photographic evidence?” the policeman asked.

“We do!” said Pingu.

The family walked into a room. Pingu handed the policeman his iPhone. Constable Gentoo looked at the image. He looked surprised. He explained that if somebody has claimed to see something that may harm workers and other people they will have to close down the Palms mall, and people will have to go to Northlands mall to shop. The family went home. Pingu had got a new car! He blindfolded the whole family then turned on the engine and asked the family what car it was. It was a Lamborghini Aventador. It was for his drag racing team. His normal car was a Jaguar F-type. Pingu let Chipy and Parakeet each get two rides! Pingu also like Formula 1 racing. His team was Mercedes-AMG! F1 is Pingu’s favorite sport. That night it was halloween and Chipy was excited. There was a car show, and the main car was a Bugatti Chiron. Chipy wanted to see a Ferrari 458 Italia. Parakeet was excited about Mercedes-Benz’s new AMG hypercar! After the car show Chipy and Parakeet were walking home. Parakeet was holding his favorite blanket. They walked past the creepy house on the corner. They stopped. Chipy thought he saw the doll in the window move. Chipy ran to his house. Parakeet followed him. They ran into the living room. The heater was on and Grandma Penguin was knitting a scarf. She looked up. The two boys walked into there warm room. He turned on the TV. Chipy liked watch a show called Preposterous Things. That week it was talked about how some people said that only home TVs give you cancer. Chipy changed the channel to the Pengville 7 o'clock news, called Pengville News At 7:00! Chipy got into his bed. He got out his iPad out. He started playing ROBLOX. Parakeet watched the TV in his armchair next to his bed. He got out a packet of chips and put them in his “Incase Of Emergency Food” box. Parakeet walked into the bathroom to wash his teeth and face. He walked into Pingu’s room to say goodnight to Penkey. Parakeet walked to Chipy then heard a sound. He walked outside.

“The robots are surrounding our house,” he said. “There is no way out”!

Just then Chipy did a giant fart. It short-circuited the robots.
